Lately, I have spent a lot of time in tile and plumbing showrooms. It seems we have a bathroom remodel as a part of nearly every design job. This is a remodel project which can be expensive because many changes can be made in a small space - from plumbing, tile, paint/wallpaper, electrical and cabinetry. All require different subcontractors and all can lead to expensive mistakes. That makes it well worth the investment to have a designer involved to ensure the process goes smoothly and the finished bathroom is a functional space for everyday use.
We also understand that painting a room, switching a light fixture or enameling a vanity can easily be updated down the road if your tastes change.
Because we have had so many bathroom inquiries lately, I wanted to share a Selections Board on a project we have in the works. We are keeping the room very light with white tile and a classic "woods" wallpaper from Cole & Sons. Adding brushed gold plumbing and lighting fixtures brought in warmth to the crisp background. To add some real impact in the room, we chose a cherry red color for the vanity and some accent tiles in the shower.
Hope you enjoy! We'll share "after" photos when the project is complete.
